With the understanding that mind, body, and environment operate as a whole, Jennifer utilizes an integrated and personalized approach to treatment that includes evidence-based therapies such as medication, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), nutritional/herbal supplements, biofeedback and mindfulness.
Jennifer graduated Summa Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2007 and has enjoyed working with individuals across the lifespan in many different settings including outpatient clinics, hospitals, Indian health centers, nursing homes, and via telemedicine.
Jennifer founded Thrive Integrative Psychiatry in 2019 to serve her community with person-centered cutting edge treatment. She is a member of the Clinical TMS Society, an international professional association dedicated to optimizing clinical practice, awareness, and accessibility of TMS therapy.
I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and received my Master of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama. I specialize in treating adults (18+) with mental health concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD and psychotic symptoms.
I have previously worked as a board certified psychiatric registered nurse for 5 years in the inpatient setting. I strive to develop personalized treatments that are developed to suit each person's lifestyle and strengthen self-awareness and resources for self-care. I have a clinical interest in integrative medicine in which the patient and provider are partners in the treatment process and all factors that influence health are taken into consideration. An integrative approach combines conventional medical and psychiatric diagnostic techniques and treatments with alternative strategies such as mindfulness therapy, supplements, TMS, and other complementary approaches.
I also have an interest in preventive health care and focusing on the action that individuals can take for themselves. Promotion of a healthy mindset through diet, sleep, exercise, and cultivating relationships can make problems less likely to arise and give individuals more capacity to deal with them when they do. A large part of why preventive medicine is successful is the healing power of relationships. This includes an individual's personal relationships and social support networks, which are crucial in overall health and well-being, as well as the provider-patient relationship.

I am very excited to be a part of the Thrive team and to be a positive point of contact for all Thrive patients. My experience working with patients began many years ago and has evolved over time to include 15 years working in eye care, clinic management, and billing. Caring for people is my passion and I am so thrilled to be able to help Thrive patients through the process of starting TMS therapy and/or working with one of our amazing providers. I look forward to talking with you soon.
Outside of work, I love to spend as much time with my dog, Potus and my family as possible. I enjoy camping, hiking, rock-hounding, and taking care of my houseplants in my spare time. I would like to own my own traveling home one day, so I can travel around the country and visit as many beautiful places as possible!
I am thrilled to be the Lead TMS Technician here at Thrive Integrative Psychiatry. From a very young age I have always had a desire to be in the helping field - wanting to encourage others and help them to work through their hardships and struggles. I graduated from George Fox University, as a single mom, with my bachelor’s in social and behavioral studies at the age of 43 in the spring of 2020.
Prior to working at Thrive, I owned my own cleaning business serving Yamhill county for over seven years. I have two teenage daughters that keep me very busy. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, camping, hiking, or spending the day at the beach, as well as, enjoying a good meal, book, or movie.

I am very grateful and excited to be part of the Thrive Integrative team. I have worked in office management for both profit and non-profit institutions working in multi-cultural environments and assisting in operational efficacy. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Colorado Christian University. Theology, Science and Philosophy are my three passions in life. Because of this, I value people with compassion and kindness knowing that we are all different but share a common ground in our humanity.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors with my husband, four sons, and two dogs. I love the beach, sunshine, running, and weight lifting in my garage. I thoroughly enjoy cooking, trying new recipes, especially when it involves sharing good food with friends.
I am excited to be a part of Thrive Integrative Psychiatry and to serve the Willamette Valley community. It is my desire to consistently provide the highest level of service with authenticity and a smile. Prior to this experience, I was Head Volleyball Coach for a local private college and worked in the financial services industry. I earned my master’s degree from Concordia University Irvine in 2017. In my spare time, I spend as much time as possible with my husband, step-son, and twin toddler boys. Some of my favorite things are to travel, sunshine, coffee, anything chocolate, and a good laugh. I look forward to working with you!
I have been with this company since it started and couldn't be more proud to be apart of the first TMS therapy office in the area.
