TMS Therapy is not a drug. It is not a form of shock therapy or surgery. TMS has none of the side effects associated with medications.

TMS treatment uses no sedation or anesthesia and the sessions have no recovery time. There is no effect on your alertness, so you can drive home after your treatment and get back to your normal activities.

Our TMS therapy is an outpatient treatment that takes as little as 3 -19 minutes.

All major commercial payers cover TMS including Tricare. Our reimbursement team specializes in understanding the in's and out's of getting approval for TMS. We advocate on your behalf to help ensure your insurance company covers this treatment.

What is TMS?

TMS is Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, a non-drug treatment for depression and anxiety. TMS uses focused magnetic pulses, similar to what is used in an MRI, to rehabilitate the areas of the brain that are dysfunctional in depression and anxiety. “Waking up” these connections has been shown to have a lasting effect, making long-term remission from depression possible for many people.

TMS is not a drug, “shock therapy", or surgery. It is a safe, effective treatment for depression and anxiety without the side effects of medication.

Is TMS right for me?

TMS may be right for you if you agree with two or more:

  • Depression symptoms have interfered with my daily life.

  • I am not satisfied with the results I get from depression medication.

  • I have had or worry about side effects from depression medications.

  • I am interested in a safe, non-drug therapy for depression.

While depression medications work for many people, some people still do not feel relief. For hard to treat depression where medication is not giving you adequate relief,  TMS is an FDA approved, safe depression treatment option.
